- Deals 250 damage per second to enemies near the core. Area of effect increases the more damaged the core is.
- Community perk by 94Connor949.
- Unlocked at Rank 45 for players, who have The Last Stand DLC.
Notes & tactics[ | ]
- It can work well if combined with slows and/or stuns for increased effectiveness.
- Effective mainly against weak lumes, if such happen to penetrate to the core, like Runners & Brood mothers.
- While mostly being inferior to the Unstable core perk, Radioactive core still can find some purpose, if used as extra core-damage perk or if combined with Slow fields around the core/Kairos close enough to the core, or stuns like the one from Shocking revelation. Also it doesn't require the core to be damaged, and co-works well with kiting in the proximity of the core.
- This perk finds use mainly in the non-survival modes (Campaign & Easy mode), since in Survival it tends to lose its impact over time, due to the increasing health pools of the enemies.
