- Standing still increases damage by 5% every second while standing still.
- Max 50% damage increase.
- Unlocked at Rank 38 for players with The Last Stand DLC.
Notes & tactics[ | ]
- This perk can be powerful if used to kill lumes in the maze's killzone.
- It loses its purpose when there is too much need of kiting.
- Some weapons that can find good purpose with this perk are the Drone launcher and accurate ones like the Sniper rifle & Plasma rifle.
- It is tricky to use with the REX, as if the knockback is not neutralized (via looking upwards or standing next to a wall), the bonus damage from Steady Aim resets. Also if used with this weapon, the usefulness is mainly for the secondary fire.
- Players using this perk should stay away from Hoverers as their attack will cause a knockback, that counters the perk.
- Alone by itself, this perk finds use mainly in the Campaign & Easy modes, since in Survival it tends to lose impact over time, due to the increasing health of the enemies.
- However, if used along with the Concussion rounds perk for 2500+ damage weakspot hits, it still can find some more usage.
