Notes & tactics[ | ]

  • This perk stacks additively with the weapon's natural crit bonus, e.g. if used on an Assault rifle, the weakspot damage bonus will be 50% + 45% = 95% of 180 and therefore the crit damage is 195% of 180 = 351 per weakspot hit. Character-related damage bonuses also stack additively with this perk, e.g. TSYGAN & Haigen 's dmg bonus will just come as an extra, but 'll not alter the damage, coming from this perk. However, Marksman's bonus stacks multiplicatively with some other damage-modifying perks, e.g. the bonus damage would be changed by Tactical juxtaposition and Fast Hands, for 60% and 135% of its original amount respectively, for a higher weakspot-DPS boost.
  • This skill works well with SiMo due to his high accuracy and high crit damage, increasing noticeably the damage, dealt to weakspots.
  • Co-works well with some other weapon perks, e.g. Long range specialization (the +50% accuracy makes it more likely to hit weakspots) and Concussion rounds (the bigger crit damage makes it more likely to overcome the 2500 dmg threshold and stun enemies).
  • Alone by itself, this perk finds use mainly in the Campaign & Easy modes, since in Survival it tends to lose impact over time, due to the increasing health of the enemies. Despite of this, if used along with certain perks, like Concussion rounds for 2500+ damage weakspot hits, it still can find some more long-time usage.
