Notes & tactics[ | ]
- While not doing a lot of damage, the G-2 Companion can aid well for kiting and holding the aggressive lumes.
- There are a few scenarios, when the G-2 Companion might be actually unwanted around and then it is better to hold him passive somewhere further by changing his behaviour to defensive. These are similar to the situations with Roboticist, Reinforcements and Best friends forever.
- Care should be taken using this perk in maps with the Super Heavy as the robot may provoke the boss to fire its beam, potentially destroying important towers and the maze in the process.
- Hoverer queens might get triggered to produce an attack due to nearby companion, and this might be close enough to towers to stun them temporarily with their attacks.
- The Walker Patriarch might be provoked to produce a large punch in a zone, where this is unwanted.
- Hoverers are mostly tricky and then the player usually just should be wary of a potential knockback, that can be riskier in maps, where it is easy to fall/get drowned.
- The perk finds use in all game modes, inclluding Survival, since he can help well with the aggressive lumes, thus indirectly increasing the damage dealt to them.
