Overview[ | ]

  • Field is the second map of Outskirts, and, like all maps in The Pursuit DLC, has Heavy Pups and flying Bliskeblaskes in some waves.
  • There are time limits before waves 3 & 6, 1 minute each.
  • The resources given are 300 at the beginning, and 200 after each wave, for a total of 2100 after wave 9.
  • The bases given are 10 at the beginning and 6 after each wave, for a total of 64 in the end.

Notes & tactics[ | ]

  • SiMo with the Plasma Rifle can do good damage to Soakers, Hoverers & Hoverer Queens.
  • The final two waves appear the most difficult. In the 9th wave anti-crowd towers like the ACP and other capable vs small lumes like the Gatling are highly potent. In the 10th wave the Gatling and Focus can shine, but if the two Hoverer queens get killed by mines (AR or Rupture ones), the 15 Soakers are relatively easy to kill even with just rapid-fire & area-of-effect weapons (since they appear as crowds).
  • The Anti-air tower can do great job in waves 5 & 8.
  • The map resembles a very big field and there are random optional ways to build - the player can start building near the spawn points of the lumes or to start from the core. However, the player should be wary that, if relying on close-to-core oriented builds, if a Focus (or other damage tower) is very close to the core, and the bosses reach it, their attacks can stun all nearby towers, while also it is potentially possible that the Queens might turn (rotate) in a position, in which damage towers cannot hit their back.
  • Field has very little resources, so spending them carefully is good for winning this map.
